Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 28, 2026

Ajroteck, LLC ("Company", "we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This policy describes how we collect, use, retain and disclose information when you use the Chequemate.pro mobile application and the website at chequematepro.com (together, the "Services").

This policy applies to information we collect through the Services and in email and in-app communications between you and us. It does not apply to information collected by any third party, including through websites or content that the Services link to.

By using the Services you agree to the collection, use and sharing of your information as described in this policy. We may change this policy from time to time (see Changes to This Policy).

Business use and children

The Services are designed for restaurants and other businesses in the United States and are not directed to consumers. They are not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it. When you create an account you confirm that you are using the Services for your business.

Information we collect

Account information. Your email address, your password (stored only in hashed form, never in readable form), your account role, and the record of when you accepted our Terms and this policy.

Restaurant information. Your restaurant's name, city and, if you choose to give it, its street address.

Invoices and documents. Supplier invoices and documents you scan, upload or store in the app, and the information we extract from them, including supplier names, addresses and phone numbers, invoice numbers and dates, line items, pack sizes, unit prices and totals, and anything else visible in an uploaded image.

Content you share in networks. Restaurants can join networks with other restaurants. Posts ("heads-ups") you publish, photos you attach, network names and descriptions you create, and staff-shift posts you publish or answer.

Information about your staff. If you use the staff roster, the information you enter about people who work at your restaurant: their name, role, a short note, their status and their start and end dates. We do not ask for staff contact details or pay. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to enter and share this information and for telling your staff that you do so.

Business and menu information. If you choose to enter them: business figures (such as monthly rent, utilities, payroll, revenue and a profit target) used to calculate a food-cost target; your menu dishes, ingredients and menu prices; and menu price checks (an item, your city and your price).

Subscription information. Your plan, its status and renewal date, and the identifiers our payment provider gives us for your customer account and subscription. We never receive or store your card number (see Payments).

Reports and blocks. Reports you file about content (what was reported, the reason and any details you give), and the restaurants you block.

Device information. Your device's operating-system platform (iOS or Android) and a push token used to deliver notifications to it. If you choose to scan an invoice or attach a photo, the app asks for access to your camera or photo library for that purpose only. We do not collect advertising identifiers (such as Apple IDFA/IDFV or Google Advertising ID), any hardware identifier, or your device's location.

Server logs. Our hosting providers keep standard logs of requests made to our systems (such as IP address, date and time, and the request), which we use for security and troubleshooting.

What we do not collect. We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting tools in the app or on the website, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide the Services, including reading uploaded invoices into line items, matching products to a reference catalogue, and converting prices to comparable units.
  • Compare the prices you pay with other suppliers' prices and with de-identified regional benchmarks, and show where you could pay less.
  • Calculate dish food costs and menu price checks from your own invoice prices.
  • Store the invoices and supplier documents you keep in the app.
  • Let you share posts and staff-shift posts with networks you join, and show you theirs.
  • Write automated insights about your purchasing.
  • Send you account emails, such as sign-in and password-reset codes, a one-time welcome email telling you how to choose a plan if your account doesn't have one, and notifications you have allowed.
  • Bill and manage your subscription.
  • Review reported content, enforce our Terms, and keep the Services and their users safe.
  • Maintain and improve the Services, and comply with the law.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Artificial intelligence

We do not use your data to train artificial-intelligence models. We use Google's Gemini API, as a service provider, to read invoices and documents you upload, to estimate menu prices when you run a price check, and to write insights about your purchasing. Our use of Gemini is on Google's paid service terms, under which Google processes this data only to provide the service to us and does not use it to train its models. We are not affiliated with Google.

Price benchmarks and what other users see

We combine invoice prices from many restaurants into de-identified regional benchmarks. No other user sees your identity, your invoices, your individual prices or which suppliers you use. A supplier-price benchmark is shown only when at least five different restaurants contribute to it, and a menu price comparison only when at least three do.

You can stop your prices from contributing to benchmarks at any time in Settings → Privacy.

Content you choose to share in a network is visible to its members: your restaurant's name and city, your posts and their photos, and your staff-shift posts. A staff member's name is shown to another restaurant only if you choose to share it in answer to a shift post; once shared it cannot be recalled. The names and descriptions of public networks are visible to all signed-in users; private networks can be joined only with a code.

Content rules, reporting and blocking

You must not post content that is unlawful, objectionable, harassing, defamatory, obscene, infringing or misleading. You can report a post or a network, and block a restaurant so that you no longer see its posts; blocked restaurants are listed in Settings. Our team reviews reports, normally within 24 hours, and may remove content or suspend accounts that break our Terms. Posts containing certain objectionable words are refused before they are published.

Payments

Paid plans are sold through Stripe. You subscribe, and manage or cancel your plan, from the iPhone app or on our website at chequematepro.com/subscribe, where you sign in with your Chequemate account. You enter your card details on Stripe's own checkout page; we never receive or store your card number. Payments are handled through Stripe's Managed Payments service, in which Link, LLC ("Sold through Link") acts as merchant of record for the payment, its receipts, refunds and disputes. We send Stripe your email address and an internal account identifier. Stripe's and Link's handling of payment information is governed by their own privacy policies.

Who we disclose your information to

We do not sell your personal information. We disclose it only:

  • To service providers that process it for us under contractual obligations to keep it confidential and use it only to provide their services: Supabase (hosting, database, sign-in and file storage), Stripe and Link (payments), Resend (email), Google (Gemini API), Expo, Apple and Google (delivering push notifications), and Vercel (website hosting). Notification text is kept generic and never includes supplier names, prices or amounts.
  • To other users, only as described in "Price benchmarks and what other users see".
  • To a buyer or successor in a merger, acquisition, restructuring or sale of some or all of our assets.
  • To comply with the law, a court order or legal process, to enforce our Terms (https://www.chequematepro.com/terms), or to protect the rights, property or safety of our company, our users or others.
  • With your consent.

Third-party content. The app shows food-industry news. Each story's image loads directly from its publisher's website, and opening a story takes you to the publisher's site, so the publisher can see your device's IP address. Our emails load our logo from our website.

Administrator access

A small number of our authorised personnel can access account information, including invoices, uploaded files and posts, where needed to provide support, review reported content, maintain security or comply with the law. Their actions are recorded in an internal log that cannot be altered.

How long we keep your information

We keep your information for as long as your account exists and as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and keep the Services safe. Invoices, scans and documents you store are kept until you delete them or delete your account.

When you sign out, your device's push token is removed from our systems. If you turn off notifications for the app, its token is deleted until you turn them on again.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Delete account. When you do, we first cancel any active subscription, then delete your account and profile; restaurants you alone own, with their invoices, extracted line items, scans, stored documents, menu data, price checks and staff roster; your posts and photos; networks you created (including other members' posts in them); your network memberships; your notification tokens; and your subscription record. We also delete your customer record at Stripe; Stripe keeps only the payment records it is required by law to keep.

Some information remains after deletion: prices from your invoices that already form part of de-identified regional benchmarks; our internal record of actions taken by our administrators, which may name your account; and, where a restaurant is co-owned, that restaurant and its records, which pass to the remaining owner.

Your rights and choices

Depending on the state where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to receive a copy of it. To exercise these rights, email us at the address below; you can also delete your account directly in the app. You can turn off notifications in your device's settings and opt out of benchmark sharing in Settings → Privacy.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have not done so in the previous 12 months.

How we protect your information

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, private storage for uploaded files, and access controls. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to or through the Services.

Where your information is stored

We store your information with our hosting provider in data centres in the United States.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy here and change the "Last updated" date above, and where required by law we will notify you of material changes.
